The RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Dorada reaches to Salou and Barcelona

Salou. Costa Dorada. 03 September 2015. From 22 to 25 October 2015 edition comes RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Dorada. The Rally will take the podium of departure and the arrival, a stretch and awards ceremony in Salou, and maintain proof of Barcelona, ​​as well as the headquarters of the organization and of the participants in PortAventura equipment.   • Day 1, Thursday, October 22
The RallyRACC will have a stretch in Barcelona, ​​at the bottom of Montjuic from the 18 h with the same route last year, although the official start in Salou will be on the same day at 13 h.
  • Day 2, Friday, October 23
The day includes mixed and ground sections with a total of 128.60 km, of which only 35.68 km are equal to those of previous years. The remaining sections are new or modified like Mora d'Ebre-Asco (9.62 km), the Bot (6.50 km) and Caseres (12.50 km). All sections are played twice.
  • Day 3, Saturday October 24
The asphalt sections RallyRACC-Costa Dorada will concentrate on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday there will be five different special stages: Salou (2.24 km) Porrera (7, 43 km), Capafonts (19.80 km); Poboleda (10.5 km), the Figuera (26.26 km). Except the first two, the other three sections also played twice.
  • Day 4, Sunday, October 25
The last day of the RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Dorada includes three sections of a major dificultat: Guiamets (6.8 km), Duesaigües (12,10 km) and Pratdip (19.30 km).

25 years

The 51 RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada Rally of Spain, in 2015 celebrated the 25th edition without interruption as counting towards the FIA ​​World Championship event.
The year 1991 was the first in which the Rally Catalunya became a part of the World Championship calendar, ownership has not stopped since.

In these 25 years, the RallyRACC has spent 14 years in Lloret de Mar (Costa Brava) and the remaining 11, including this issue in Salou-PortAventura (Costa Dorada).
