New edition of the Experience of Journalist with Repsol and the College of Journalists

From February 24 to March 16, 2020, the new edition of the Journalist Experience conference series will be held, organized every year by the Association of Journalists of Tarragona with the sponsorship of Repsol and the collaboration of the Repsol - URV Chair of Excellence in Communication and the City Council of Tarragona.
In this edition, the sports journalist born in Tarragona, in 1985, Danae Boronat, who will explain her experience on February 24 will open the cycle. Boronat started in RNE and Onda Cero Tarragona to make the leap, in 2010, to Deportes Cuatro. From 2015 she presented sports and football news programs at Bein Sports, and since last season she has been a presenter at Movistar La Liga. He collaborates with Deportes Rac1, El Matí de Cataluña Radio and Esport3. The year 2019 became the first woman in Spain to narrate a football game on television.
On March 2 it will be the turn of Anna Surinyach (Barcelona, 1985), a journalist and photojournalist specializing in migration, refugee and human rights issues. His gaze has been fixed on the Mediterranean crisis, the Ebola epidemic or the conflicts in Yemen, Colombia, South Sudan, Syria, Congo and the Central African Republic, among others. She is a 5W graphic editor. For six years she worked as a photographer for Doctors Without Borders (MSF).
The journalist Txell Feixas (Mediona, 1979) will be the protagonist of the conference cycle on March 9. Currently, since Beirut is a correspondent for the Catalan Corporation of Audiovisual Mitjans (CCMA) in the Middle East. It has covered the war against the Islamic State in Iraq, the fall of the Caliphate from Syrian Kurdistan or the March for Return in the Gaza Strip. She previously worked at Matí de Catalunya Radio with Mònica Terribas, as an editor specialized in economics at the CCMA delegation in Madrid, at Catalunya Informació and at Catalunya Cultura. He began his career in Radio Vilafranca.
The last conference will be on March 16 and will be given by David Jiménez (Barcelona, 1971). He worked for 18 years as a correspondent and war reporter before being appointed director of El Mundo in 2015. He was fired a year later because he faced the company and the political and economic powers of Spain. He works as a columnist in The New York Times and is a political commentator for RTVE. He has published four books, including the bestseller The Director. He is currently the executive producer of the series that will bring this editorial success to the screen.
All conferences of the Journalist Experience cycle will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Old Court of Tarragona (Pl. Del Pallol, 1-3), and admission is free.
The objective of this initiative is that renowned media professionals make their vision of the world of communication and the personal experience of the public information process available to the public.
This cycle has been carried out continuously since 2009, and has been attended by Xavier Graset, Josep Capella, Ferran Espasa, Josep M. Martí, Pilar Aymerich, Joan Salvat, Milagros Pérez Oliva, Jordi Basté, Pepe Baeza, Josep Cuní, Rosa M. Reedition of the agreement between the College and Repsol
Journalist experience is part of the annual collaboration agreement between the Tarragona Demarcation of the College of Journalists and Repsol, consisting of different communication actions of interest to journalists and society in general, as well as others more specifically aimed at members Tarragona.
In this sense, the agreement, initiated in 2013, establishes the financing by Repsol of the annual edition of the Journalist Experience, which includes the insertion of advertising banners in various media and the edition of graphic material of the conferences; the organization of a training day on technical issues; the sponsorship of training and development sessions offered by the College and the maintenance during this 2020 of the APP of press calls of the Camp de Tarragona, ConvoAPPTGN.
The president of the Demarcation of Tarragona of the College of Journalists, Coia Ballesté, and the head of Communication and External Relations of Repsol in Tarragona, Josep Bertran, have formalized the reissue, for the eighth consecutive year, of this collaboration commitment.
