The beach of La Pineda shines again with the Blue Flag
La Pineda. Costa Dorada. 12th July 2012. Josep Poblet, mayor of Vila-seca, accompanied by several councilors of the Municipality of Vila-seca has hoisted the blue flag beach of La Pineda, an act which was also attended by various professionals in the tourism sector and representatives of of the main civic center of Vila-seca. The Blue Flag is a badge of quality of the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (eco) to distinguish the beaches that meet safety requirements, environmental management and cleaning services marked by the European Union. The beach of La Pineda enjoys this rating continuously from fourteen years ago.
