10,000 people have already visited the Nativity of Sand in La Pineda
La Pineda. Costa Dorada. Thousands of people visited during the last days of the traditional Nativity of Sand that is installed on the beach of La Pineda. Since the beginning of its construction, almost 10,000 people are already close to Pineda to explore the new manger who also enjoyed the presence of visitors arriving by bus from Barcelona especially, coordinated by agency Viajes Iberia, students of the school la Pineda and various media such as TV3, TVE 1 and EFE. New artists from all over Europe, met in La Pineda 3 to 10 December to sculpt the crib. So for eight days, built a sculpture that consists of 600 tons of sand. The authors of this sculpture artists are: Niall Magee (Ireland), Ludo Roder (Netherlands), Martijn Rijersde (Netherlands), Anique Kuizenga (Netherlands), Bruno MacDonald (Denmark), Daniel Doyle (Ireland), and Mario Hernandez (Catalonia). People who have visited have also been able to do a walk through the Craft Fair. The Stable of sand can be visited until Monday morning, January 9, the day that the crèche be demolished.
